Tonight is our last night here!!! We have had a wonderful time, but we are sooooo ready to get home. Kids, we have missed you more than you can ever know. We cannot wait to see you. Tonight we decided to go over to the White Swan Hotel and take pictures on the red sofas. This is somewhat of a tradition among adoptive parents, so we joined in. We dressed Grant in an outfit we bought from a local shop, and he was a sport. While we were there we ran into some friends we made in Chengdu. Ella was at the orphanage with Grant, and her parents met her the same time we met Grant. We have crossed paths several times and tonight we had dinner together. We hope to keep in touch. Tomorrow morning (which will be this evening for most of you) we fly out of Guangzhou to Beijing. We then fly to Chicago, and finally to Atlanta. We will get into Atlanta fairly late Thursday night and drive back to Columbus. Please keep us in your prayers. We are so excited about getting home, but the actual trip is a bit daunting. Grant's only airplane ride so far was from Chengdu to Guangzhou. That was not what we would call an easy experience. That was only 1 hour and 45 minutes. We have nearly 18 hours of plane rides ahead. Yikes. Please pray for sleep, rest, and good attitudes (for everybody!). We cannot thank you enough for all of your encouragement, your support, and for you prayers. We are so blessed to have friends and family like you. Words cannot express how much we love and appreciate you all. Kids, your brother is almost home. We cannot wait until we are all under the same roof. He is going to love you, and we know that you already love him. We will see you very soon!!!!
