We arrived Gruagzhou a day earlier and just woke up from our first full night of rest. 9 HOURS! Up to this point we had only slept 4 to 5 hours per night. Praises. Grant only cried out two times last night -such an answered prayer.
He has also started to eat. Last night we went to Lucy's for dinner and he ate a bowl of congee! Glory Glory Glory! Dinner was so much fun as our hearts felt lighter coming here. Guangzhou is a wonderful city and our hotel is beautiful, it reminds me of the old Cloister. We are staying on Shamine (sp) Island and we cannot wait to explore today. The island is full of hotels, restaruants and shopping. The streets are much less croweded and the people are not as in a big of a hurry - reminds me of the south.
THE GREATEST PRAISE!! GRANT IS WALKING! It is so amazing. His little toes were all curled up and he would cry if I touched his feet when we first got him. We have put little Robeez shoes on him and slowly he has let us touch his feet and his toes have relaxed. When we got to the hotel yesterday he began walking across the room - He is thrilled with himself!
He also has new words : "Good Job" "Yeaha" (Yes). He is such a joy!
We have to figure out the computer here at the Victory before I can post pictures. We will be able to do that today.
Children, I miss you very much. We have heard excellent reports - THANK YOU! You being home without us is a very big part of bringing Grant home. I know it is sometimes hard not being all together - remember we will al be together soon. Keep doing a GREAT job on this journey to bring Grant home. HUGS! I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH! MAMA
